Today was one of the most exciting days.
People were in constant touch.
Eager to know about the status of "the file". Whole day exchange of news, mostly, hearsay, kept on flowing from one corner of the country to another.
We also tried to know the exact status of the file from one of our senior leaders.
He is confident that the promotion orders would be released latest by tomorrow evening.Let us pray and hope that he is right.
The another issue in discussion today was the order of ACIT to DCIT.
The point of discussion is....
Why some 30 promotee IRS officers of 2006 batch who were at the bottom of the list have not been promoted to the cadre of DCIT though they are eligible for promotion?
Many of the senior officers were seen fuming over such a discriminatory order and expressing their displeasure over the withdrawal of Agitation by the JCA prior to fulfillment of even one single small demand.
The infamous Rajeev Mohan Case was also some what in news. The case has been fixed for hearing in the Allahabad High court for the Admission of writ.
