One more week ended. The wait is still not over for 160 odd people all over the country. This has been a very long and tiresome wait. Since last few months, each week would start with a new hope, a new rumor and would end with one more disappointment for many of us. End of this week is slightly different. Today was a Holiday here in Gujarat. So we are enjoying a little longer weekend. The background this week is strong. The process upto the meeting of placement committee is over, the Chairman is back in his office and the file has moved to the office of MOS. So the wait today was for the file to return to the Board.
Friends and colleagues were on the JOB.They were logged on to irsofficersonline for the whole day. We were asking each other " Kya Khabar Hai?" But nobody has the sweet answer which every body would like to listen "Order Ho Gaya".....

we are a very tolerant lot if 2009-10 promotions are over we feel that we have received the fruits of our struggle. We got what we should have got few months back. Is this struggle necessary at all to get what is legally due to us. couldn't this energy that was lost in the struggle utilised for constructive use of the department ?? Is there no accountablity for the administration for imposing major penalty of not granting promotion to each one of the affected persons for no fault of theirs. what did we actually achieve. Acceptance of inefficiency of the administration??? and we say "Jo Maza Safar Mai hai wo Manzil pane me Nahi".... "ham aaj bhi hain haare nahin aur kal bhi ham jeet jaayenge" ???

Pl keep your fingers crossed . Do not be surprised if some of the vacancies were for 2008-09 and also that all vacancies are not filled in the promotion order.
