Today the last fear also went away. The Allahabad High Court did not grant the ill wish of Rajeev Mohan. Finally, the truth prevailed. “Time” is inching closer; we are heading closer and closer to the destination to which many of us are very keen to reach, as early as possible. And, why not? After all, the journey took 14 long years to reach us from one point to another. It is almost one fifth of our average life span. The wait after 11-12 years is like a punishment without commitment of any crime.
Around 59 officers would be the worst suffers among the 160 odd. They could have been promoted in year 2008 itself but for some wrong calculation of vacancies they have to wait for two more years and are still waiting. Will they be compensated for the loss they have suffered for no fault of theirs? They are at a loss of seniority, pay and the most important thing the loss of two years in their careers.
This is only one of numerous instances of injustice being done to us in the Department which we believe is our Department as much as it belongs to any other section of employees. So, some questions which haunt us time and again in this back drop are:
Are we “second class” employees of the Government?
Why attempts are made to prevent us from reaching the top?
Why are we always been ill treated when it comes to promotion and inter-se seniority with DR officers?
The decision of the Allahabad High Court has vindicated our stand and once gain proved that TRUTH always wins and FAKES always get exposed.
ReplyDeleteNow I can see that your feelings are oozing out. I think the moderator should put up a vote, where the user can rate the performance of the administration on various tasks achieved by them on the scale of 1 to 10. The results should then be conveyed to the concerned authorities.
ReplyDeleteHigh Hopes of getting 160 promotions. As per my info only 145 to 150 posts will be filled. Not a single ITO of general category who were on 18.6.2001, either regularised or of VY 2000-01 are going to be promoted. Lets keep watching.
ReplyDeleteOriginal commitment of the Board was that as soon as the minutes of the DPC is received proposal of 2010-11 will be sent.Orders are ready. then why are we waiting for. Is any one aware of the status of the Proposal of 2010-11. Or will it wait for the next restructuring exercise.
